I am a personal trainer certified through ACE, AfAA and FPI. I work for Spectrum Health Clubs in San Antonio, TX at their Rogers Ranch location. I am from Vermont originally but have done a lot of travelling over the last couple of years. I lived in Park City, Utah for three years and was able to experience the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics first hand! I also spent a year working for Norwegian Cruise Lines as a fitness director! I have two beautiful sisters, Linda and Maria. One of the most fun experiences I ever had was when I won a car on the Price is Right! I kissed Bob Barker and everything! |

When did you start in your sport?
I finally buckled down and made the decision to start competing in July 2005. This had been a dream of mine for years, but I kept putting it off and allowing myself to make excuses! July was it though, I had my aaah-ha moment, and realized I had to just do it! I'm so glad that I did and I can't wait to pursue the sport of figure competing with all my heart and soul! |

Best moment so far in your sport
Winning my height class in my first ever competition, and becoming nationally qualified! Wow what a feeling to have all of that hard work pay off with my first show, and also what a feeling to know that I can now take it to the next level! |

What do you enjoy about your sport?
I love the discipline and the determination that it takes. I love seeing the changes that I can make to my body, I love the way that I can inspire and motivate others to pursue their own fitness goals. I love being onstage! That was the strangest thing about my first competition, I was nervous all the way up until that moment when I stepped on stage, all of that melted away and I just had fun with it! |

What are your goals in your sport?
To be a professional figure competitor. I want to make this my life and my career. I want to travel and pursue as many avenues and opportunities that this growing field has to offer. I want to show women that being strong and fit is sexy and can improve their quality of life! |
